1. A method of treating opioid dependence in a patient with depression, the method comprising:
administering a sublingual dose of buprenorphine and naloxone to the patient in a treatment regimen effective to manage the patient's withdrawal symptoms and cravings; and
in conjunction with the administration of the sublingual dose of buprenorphine and naloxone, engaging in a self-directed digital, interactive cognitive behavioral therapy program provided via a software application that treats the depression,
wherein the software application comprises a plurality of modules providing therapeutic content implementing a plurality of psychotherapeutic approaches,
wherein the software application receives feedback from the patient and, based on the feedback, adjusts at least one of (i) an order in which the plurality of modules are presented to the patient or (ii) the digital therapeutic content provided by the plurality of modules,
wherein the depression is treated, thereby increasing adherence by the patient to the treatment regimen.
