24 Claims

1. A process for preparing N-Acetyl Methyl GABA, comprising the steps of:

a. methylating the carboxyl group of GABA;

b. acetylating the amino group of GABA to prepare N-Acetyl Methyl GABA; and then

c. optionally purifying the N-Acetyl Methyl GABA.
