1. A method of preparing a nutritional formula prior to ingestion by a subject, the method comprising:
exposing at least one of milk, infant formula, or enteral formula comprising triglycerides to immobilized lipase to at least partially hydrolyze the triglycerides within the at least one of milk, infant formula, or enteral formula,
wherein the at least one of milk, infant formula, or enteral formula is exposed to the immobilized lipase for no more than 60 minutes, prior to ingestion by the subject, and
wherein the immobilized lipase does not form a part of the nutritional formula.
