1. An absorbent article comprising:
an ear comprising a patterned apertured laminate comprising a nonwoven material and a film, wherein the patterned apertured laminate comprises:
a plurality of land areas in the nonwoven material and the film; and
a plurality of apertures defined in the nonwoven material and the film, wherein at least some land areas of the plurality of land areas surround at least some apertures of the plurality of apertures;
wherein the plurality of apertures are non-homogeneous in a repeat unit such that at least two apertures of the plurality of apertures have a different size or a different shape;
wherein the nonwoven material and the film has an Effective Open Area in the range of about 3% to about 30%, according to the Aperture Test herein;
wherein the plurality of apertures are formed through each layer of the nonwoven material and the film;
wherein the plurality of apertures each comprise a perimeter;
wherein portions of the perimeter of at least some apertures of the plurality of apertures comprise melt-fused portions;
wherein a first group of apertures of the plurality of apertures forms a first shape;
wherein a second group of apertures of the plurality of apertures at least partially surrounds the first shape; and
wherein at least one land area of the plurality of land areas is present intermediate the first group of apertures and the second group of apertures; and
a topsheet;
a liquid impermeable backsheet; and
an absorbent core at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet.
