1. A wearable radar system, comprising:
a transceiver circuit configured to:
transmit, towards a subject, at least one transmitted radar signal having a radar signal parameter; and
receive at least one radar return signal; and
a control circuit configured to:
retrieve an actual signal to noise ratio of a prior received radar return signal from a historical database;
generate a control signal defining the radar signal parameter of the at least one transmitted radar signal, wherein the control circuit defines the radar signal parameter based on an expected response of the transmitted radar signal to a physiological parameter, and wherein the expected response is determined based on the actual signal to noise ratio of the prior received radar return signal;
provide the control signal to the transceiver circuit to cause the transceiver circuit to transmit at least one transmitted signal having the radar signal parameter; and
determine, based on a comparison of a signal to noise ratio of the at least one radar return signal and the actual signal to noise ratio of the prior received radar return signal from the historical database, the physiological parameter selected from a group comprising a heart rate variation, a heart volume, a heart stroke volume, a blood flow efficiency, a cardiac pulse shape, and a cardiac cycle-to-cycle variation.
