1. Aerosol-generating device comprising:
a cavity for receiving an aerosol-generating article containing an aerosol-forming substrate; and
a resilient sealing element having a ring shape, wherein the resilient sealing element is arranged to be surrounding a downstream end of the cavity, wherein the resilient sealing element is configured to abut the aerosol-generating article when the aerosol-generating article is received within the cavity, wherein the resilient sealing element comprises at least two resilient sealing elements,
wherein the resilient sealing elements are flexible and ring-shaped, and wherein the at least two flexible ring-shaped resilient sealing elements are arranged axially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the aerosol-generating device and inverted,
wherein inverted comprises one resilient sealing element is funnel-shaped with the end face with the smaller diameter being oriented upstream, while the other resilient sealing element is funnel-shaped with the end face with the larger diameter being oriented upstream.
