1. A method for producing viable interploidy hybrid guayule seeds, said method comprising:
selecting an apomictic female guayule plant line and a pollinator plant line, wherein said apomictic female guayule plane line has a different ploidy level than said pollinator plant line;
determining a production ratio of female guayule plants of said apomictic female guayule plane line to pollinator plants of said pollinator plant line to produce said viable interploidy hybrid seeds, wherein said production ratio of female guayule plants to pollinator plants is in a range between 10:1 to 1:5;
planting said apomictic female guayule plant line and said pollinator plant line in pollinating proximity in said production ratio in a production field; and
allowing pollination of said female guayule plants with pollen from said pollinator plants, wherein at least 5% of said viable interploidy hybrid guayule seeds produced have germinated after incubation.
