1. A display device comprising:
a display area and a non-display area;
a planarization layer disposed on the display area and the non-display area of a substrate, the planarization layer extending from the display area to an end portion of the non-display area;
an opening area disposed in the display area;
an opening periphery area surrounding the opening area; and
an encapsulation layer disposed between the substrate and the planarization layer, wherein
a thickness of a portion of the planarization layer disposed in the opening periphery area is greater than a thickness of a portion of the planarization layer disposed in the display area,
a thickness of a portion of the encapsulation layer disposed in the non-display area decreases as the encapsulation layer is away from the display area, and
a thickness of a portion of the planarization layer disposed in the non-display area increases as the portion of the planarization layer is away from the display area.
