1. A system for requesting information for at least one geofence comprising:
at least one device having a processor coupled with a memory, wherein the at least one device is constructed and configured for wireless communication; and
a Domain Name System (DNS) resolver;
wherein the DNS resolver determines an Internet Protocol (IP) address associated with a geographic location;
wherein the at least one device receives geofence information from the DNS resolver; and
wherein the geofence information includes an identification of the at least one geofence and at least one class or at least one entitlement.
