14. A system for providing an enhanced audio experience in a venue, the system comprising:
a receiver of a receiving system configured to receive an enhanced-quality version of an audio signal via a communications channel; and
an output circuit of the receiving system configured to output the enhanced-quality version of the audio signal by a headset in communication with the output circuit, the headset being lightweight with ear pieces covered by foam covers that rest on ears without extending into ear canals of the ears of the audience member, thereby enabling the audience member positioned at a location positioned in the venue to substantially simultaneously hear:
(i) the enhanced-quality version of the audio signal;
(ii) the audio signal output from a loudspeaker attenuated as a function of the foam covers of the headset; and
(iii) as ambient sounds by way of the audience member's body and/or bone conduction.
