1. A method of a first user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
receiving information of a number of synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) block transmissions for sidelink communication from a base station;
transmitting one or more SS/PBCH blocks based on the information in a sidelink; and
transmitting a reference signal for sidelink measurement in the sidelink;
wherein a number of the one or more SS/PBCH blocks is equal to or less than the number of SS/PBCH block transmissions.
