1. A printed circuit board connector (1) for connecting a printed circuit board (6) to another printed circuit board (6) or to a corresponding printed circuit board connector, comprising:
a housing (2);
at least two contact elements (3) arranged in pairs, each having two narrow sides (37) and two wide sides (38),
wherein the contact elements (3) each have a flexible contact region (33),
wherein the flexible contact regions (33) of the contact elements (3) are shaped in substantially the same way, and
wherein the housing (2) is designed to align the flexible contact regions (33) substantially parallel to the connected printed circuit board (6),
wherein each contact element (3) has a rigid contact region (34) following the flexible contact region (33),
wherein the rigid contact region (34) has at least one fixing element (36) for fixing the contact element (3) in the housing (2), and
wherein the narrow sides of the rigid contact region (34) include an angle between 80° and 100°, and
wherein the wide sides of the rigid contact region (34) and the flexible contact region (33) lie in common planes.
