1. An electrochemical cell, comprising:
an anode;
a cathode;
a seal disposed around a perimeter of at least one of the anode or the cathode and fluidically isolating the anode from the cathode:
a selectively permeable membrane disposed between the anode and the cathode; and
a degassing port defined by the seal, the degassing port configured to fluidically couple the at least one of the anode or the cathode to a first region exterior to the electrochemical cell in a first configuration, and fluidically isolate the at least one of the anode or the cathode from the first region in a second configuration.
