1. An electronic ledger platform for processing electronic tokens transferable between multiple entities, the multiple entities including a first entity, a second entity, and a third entity, the electronic ledger platform comprising:
an issuing system for writing a demand token to one or more blocks of an electronic ledger in the electronic ledger platform, the demand token including or referencing ownership information and activity information, the ownership information indicating that the demand token is owned by the second entity, and the activity information indicating an event to which the second entity is admissible, if the second entity converts the demand token to an admission token, the ownership of the demand token being transferred from the second entity to the third entity over the electronic ledger platform in accordance with a first protocol;
an admission system, independent of the issuing system, for converting the demand token to the admission token, in response to an authenticated request by the second entity, the admission token redeemable at a time of entry to the event in accordance with a second protocol, the first protocol requiring a first level of scrutiny at a higher level of confidence than the second protocol; and
a transaction system for transferring the demand token from the second entity to the third entity in exchange for a first quantity of currency to be provided to the second entity by the third entity, the demand token including a reference to an executable program that is executed to commit to one or more blocks of the electronic ledger at least a reference to the transfer of the demand token to the third entity,
wherein the first protocol is configured for verifying the ownership information associated with the demand token and validating each transaction for transfer of the demand token over the electronic ledger, and
wherein the second protocol is configured for redeeming the admission token independent of the first protocol configured for verifying the ownership information associated with the demand token without validating each transaction for transfer of the demand token over the electronic ledger.
