1. A reticle comprising: a primary marking feature and a center, the primary marking feature having a first marking, a second marking and a third marking, wherein the first marking, the second marking, and the third marking are etched with a crosshatch pattern to generate voids, and further wherein the primary marking feature appears as a solid marking at a low magnification setting of a viewing optic, and translucent at a high magnification setting of a viewing optic.
