1. A shaft body for a pencil or a cosmetic constituted by coating a pencil lead or a rod-shaped cosmetic with a shaft body, the shaft body comprising:

a shaft body material composition including at least a naturally-derived constitutional material, a naturally-derived binder, and a crosslinking agent for crosslinking the binder.
