1. A welding asset tracking server, comprising:
communication circuitry configured to receive welding asset data from a welding asset tracking network; and
processing circuitry configured to:
determine whether a welding asset data subset of the welding asset data satisfies one or more welding criteria, and
in response to determining the welding asset data subset does not satisfy the one or more welding criteria, send a command signal from the communication circuitry to a heartbeat generator of the welding asset tracking network, the command signal being representative of a command to stop generating a heartbeat signal.
