1. An adaptor for connecting a drug delivery device to a connector, the adaptor comprising:
a tubular body comprising:
a proximal region defining a bore configured to receive a distal tip of the drug delivery device, and
a distal region comprising a distal end defining a distal opening so as to permit introduction of the connector into the distal region of the tubular body, wherein a diameter of the distal opening is larger than a diameter of the bore,
wherein the distal region of the tubular body comprises an internal thread configured to threadably engage the connector,
wherein an inner surface of the distal region includes an axial shoulder extending circumferentially around the distal region; and
at least one deformable element secured to and abutting the axial shoulder distally of the internal thread, the axial shoulder preventing proximal movement of the at least one deformable element, the at least one deformable element comprising an annular ring defining a pre-formed hole therethrough with a diameter larger than the diameter of the bore, wherein the at least one deformable element is configured to deform to exert an inwardly directed radial pressure against the connector when the connector is inserted through the hole and into the tubular body.
