1. An interface assembly comprising a mask assembly and a frame that is separate from the mask assembly, the frame comprising at least one headgear connector configured to allow a headgear to be connected to the frame, the mask assembly comprising a housing comprising an inlet, and a mask seal connected to the housing and having a sealing surface, the interface assembly further comprising a conduit connector configured to connect to a gases supply conduit for supplying a supply of pressurized breathing gases to an interior of the mask assembly, the conduit connector comprising an inlet connector and a frame connection slot formed in the conduit connector, the inlet connector of the conduit connector being configured to connect directly to the inlet of the housing to connect the conduit connector to the mask assembly, and the frame being configured to fit into the frame connection slot of the conduit connector to connect the frame to the conduit connector, wherein a lateral plane extends perpendicular to the sealing surface of the mask seal, the conduit connector being configured to connect to and/or disconnect from the housing in a first direction that is angled downward from the lateral plane, and the frame being configured to connect to and/or disconnect from the conduit connector in a second direction that is perpendicular to the lateral plane.
