1. A medical device for removing an object in a body lumen, the medical device comprising:
a rotatable tubular driving shaft positioned in an outer sheath, the rotatable tubular driving shaft being comprised of a driving tube, the driving tube including a distal portion at a distal end of the driving tube and a proximal portion at a proximal end of the driving tube, the driving tube including a lumen that extends between the proximal and distal ends of the driving tube;
a cutting part provided on the distal portion of the driving tube,
the proximal portion of the driving tube including a leading-out hole;
the proximal portion of the driving tube being connected to a connection shaft that is connectable to a motor to rotate the driving tube and the cutting part so that rotation of the cutting part cuts the object when the cutting part is positioned in the body lumen, the cutting part possessing a distal-most end;
a casing surrounding an internal housing space, the proximal portion of the driving tube being located in the internal housing space of the casing;
a seal in contact with an outer surface of the connection shaft and an inner surface of the casing; and
the connection shaft possessing an outer diameter, the proximal portion of the driving tube possessing an outer diameter, the outer diameter of the connection shaft being smaller than the outer diameter of the proximal portion of the driving tube.
