1. A method of positioning an imaging system, comprising:
determining an imaging system reference vector based on at least acquiring tracking information of an imaging system tracking device associated with the imaging system;
determining a target reference vector based on at least acquiring tracking information of a target tracking device;
acquiring tracking information of the imaging system reference vector and the target reference vector based at least on tracking the imaging system tracking device and tracking the target tracking device;
determining a first relative position of the imaging system reference vector and the target reference vector;
receiving an input of a region-of-interest (ROI) at which image data is selected to be acquired;
determining a second relative position of the imaging system reference vector and the target reference vector to acquire the image data at the ROI;
determining a path to move the imaging system to the determined second relative position of the imaging system reference vector and the target reference vector; and
outputting the determined path to move the imaging system;
the method further comprising:
tracking a reference in a first navigation space of a first localizer;
tracking the reference in a second navigation space of a second localizer; and
calibrating the first navigation space and the second navigation space.
