1. An x-ray system, comprising:
an x-ray source to generate first x-rays at a plurality of x-ray focal spots; and
a plurality of collimators, each respective collimator among the plurality of collimators being
allocated to a corresponding x-ray focal spot among the plurality of x-ray focal spots,
configured to select second x-rays generated in the corresponding x-ray focal spot, the second x-rays being a set of the first x-rays, the second x-rays being and directed onto a common detector, and
in a fixed position in relation to the corresponding x-ray focal spot,
wherein the x-ray source
is embodied as a first x-ray tube including at least one anode and a plurality of cathodes, the at least one anode including the plurality of x-ray focal spots, the plurality of collimators being in the first x-ray tube, or
includes a plurality of x-ray tubes, anodes of the plurality of x-ray tubes including the plurality of x-ray focal spots, and each respective collimator being in a corresponding x-ray tube among the plurality of x-ray tubes.
