1. A physiological sensor configured for modular attachment with additional sensors, the physiological sensor comprising:
a top surface;
a plurality of electroencephalogram (EEG) electrodes positioned beneath the top surface, the plurality of EEG electrodes spaced from one another;
printed electrode markings positioned on the top surface, the printed electrode markings configured to show positioning of the plurality of EEG electrodes, the printed electrode markings each positioned on a portion of the top surface above one of the plurality of EEG electrodes;
an adhesive configured to be affixed to the forehead of a patient, the adhesive positioned under at least a portion of the top surface; and
a mounting zone configured to indicate an alignment of an adhesive portion of an additional sensor to the top surface, the mounting zone positioned along at least a portion of an edge of the top surface and extending at least partially inward from the edge, the mounting zone positioned away from each of the printed electrode markings and comprising a printed marking area on the top surface configured to indicate a placement of the additional sensor relative to the patient.
