1. A first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) comprising:
a processor and a memory, wherein the processor and the memory are configured to:
discover a second WTRU that the first WTRU can communicate with, the first WTRU configured to conduct vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication via a PC5 interface that allows communication between the first WTRU and the second WTRU;
obtain device information related to the second WTRU; and
configure a radio protocol of the first WTRU for direct sidelink V2X communication with the second WTRU over the PC5 interface using PC5 radio resource control (RRC) signaling, wherein the PC5 interface comprises one or more unicast links between the first WTRU and the second WTRU that allows for communication between one or more pairs of peer services of the first WTRU and the second WTRU, wherein each of the one or more unicast links supports one or more service types and the one or more service types are at least associated with a pair of peer applications for the unicast link.
