1. A first device, comprising:
a microphone;
at least one speaker;
at least one processor;
at least one tangible, non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising program instructions that are executable by the at least one processor such that the first device is configured to:
cause the first device to enter a configuration mode;
communicate, via the speaker to a second device within physical proximity of the first device, a first audio signal requesting code information;
based on the first audio signal requesting the code information, receive, via the microphone from the second device, a second audio signal comprising encoded data;
decode the encoded data to obtain the code information, wherein the code information comprises credential information and information about the second device;
based on the credential information, cause the first device to authenticate with a wireless access point; and
after authenticating with the wireless access point, access, via the wireless access point, at least one network service.
