1. An apparatus for scaling images, the apparatus comprising:
one or more processors;
one or more computer-readable storage media on which computer-executable instructions are stored, which upon being executed by the one or more processors, provide for execution of the following steps:
setting a first resolution for a microscope by setting a binning and/or selecting a subset of pixels for capturing one or more first images;
adjusting the microscope based on the first resolution, wherein adjusting the microscope comprises adjusting at least one of a numerical aperture (NA) of an optical system of the microscope, an exposure time, or a luminous intensity of a light source of the microscope;
capturing the one or more first images by the microscope, wherein the one or more captured first images have the first resolution; and
generating one or more corresponding second images by applying a neural network to the one or more captured first images, wherein the one or more second images are related to a second resolution, the first resolution is lower than the second resolution.
