24 Claims

1. A hot-melt-prepared enzyme granule, comprising a mixture of a particulate enzyme powder and a desiccant having a water activity of less than 0.15, wherein the desiccant comprises a zeolite having a SiO₂/Al₂O₃ratio of 20 or less, and wherein the desiccant releases less than 10% of bound water at a temperature above 50° C.
