1. An apparatus for batch treatment of a wastewater solution comprising:
a first vessel coupled to an inlet port adapted to fill the first vessel with a batch of wastewater solution to be treated, and coupled to an outlet port configured to drain at least part of the wastewater solution;
a heat source coupled to the first vessel and configured to heat the wastewater solution to a predetermined critical state;
a crystallization rate sensor configured to detect the predetermined critical state of the wastewater solution under treatment, wherein the predetermined critical state of the wastewater solution occurs when a solution's crystallization rate exceeds the solutions redissolution rate; and,
a batch processing controller coupled to the crystallization rate sensor and configured to determine if a batch of solution under treatment has transitioned to a processed solution, to remove a predetermined portion of the processed solution from the first vessel via the outlet port based on the determination, to retain a portion of the processed solution in the first vessel and configured to add untreated wastewater to the first vessel thereby creating a new batch of wastewater solution to be processed, wherein between the processing of each batch of wastewater solution, at least a portion of the wastewater solution remains in contact with at least a portion of interior surfaces of the first vessel thereby minimizing adhesion of solids to interior surfaces of the first vessel.
