1. A method of homogeneously mixing solids comprising:
mixing, in a fluid medium, a first nanoparticle material and a surfactant, wherein the first nanoparticle material comprises magnetic sensitive nanoparticles and has a first zeta potential;
adding, to the mixed fluid medium, a second nanoparticle material comprising:
a 1-dimensional material comprising nanostructures only having a dimension within the range between 1 and 100 nm; and
a 2-dimensional material;
wherein the second nanoparticle material has a second zeta potential of opposite polarity to the first zeta potential; and
wherein at least a portion of the first and second nanoparticle materials form a homogeneous material in the fluid medium via the charge attraction of the first and second zeta potentials; and
removing at least a portion of the homogeneous material from the fluid medium.
