1. An automatic rail switch plate lubrication system comprising:
a power unit enclosure; and
an applicator unit secured to a rail switch arm,
wherein the applicator unit comprises:
a nozzle bar extending a length of the applicator unit;
a plurality of adjustable lubricant application blocks, each block comprising a nozzle and wherein the plurality of adjustable lubricant application blocks are spaced apart along the nozzle bar and positionally adjustable there along;
a bracket configured for mounting the applicator unit on the rail switch arm such that the nozzle of each block is provided over a switch plate; and
an exchange point for fluidically coupling to a lubricant delivery hose connected to a reservoir holding lubricant to the nozzle bar for delivery of the lubricant to the each of the plurality of adjustable lubricant application blocks, and
wherein the nozzle bar is heated for distribution of heated lubricant to an exposed portion of the switch plate.
