1. A display device, comprising:
a display panel;
a backlight adjacent [ at a rear of ] a first surface of the [ display ] panel;
a blocker adjacent a second surface of the [ display ] panel; and
at least one bracket between the [ display ] panel and backlight , [ ; and
a back cover at a rear of the at least one bracket, ] wherein:
a) an edge of the second surface of the [ display ] panel is [ externally ] exposed;
b) the first and second surfaces are substantially parallel,
c) [ the ] at least one bracket is coupled to the first surface without overlapping an active region of the [ display ] panel that displays an image, and
d) the blocker does not overlap the active region of the [ display ] panel and overlaps the bracket along an axis passing through the [ display ] panel; and
e) the blocker is visible at a position in front of the [ display ] panel [ ,
wherein the at least one bracket includes a side portion overlapping peripheral edges of the display panel such that the side portion includes an inner surface facing the peripheral edges of the display panel and an outer surface externally exposed,
wherein the at least one bracket includes a front portion supporting the first surface of the display panel and a rear portion opposite to the front portion,
wherein the at least one bracket includes a groove at the rear portion of the at least one bracket and the groove includes a pair of inner walls such that a gap is formed between the pair of inner walls,
wherein an end of the back cover is inserted into the gap of the pair of inner walls in the groove of the at least one bracket such that the backlight is disposed between the display panel and the back cover, and
wherein a plurality of lights of the backlight overlaps the active region of the display panel] .
