1. A display apparatus, comprising:
a substrate including a hole area;
an insulating layer disposed over the substrate;
a transistor including a gate electrode, a source electrode and a drain electrode over the insulating layer;
a planarization layer over the transistor;
an anode electrode on the planarization layer;
an organic light emitting layer on the anode electrode;
a cathode electrode on the organic light emitting layer;
a bank-spacer layer over the anode electrode and partitioning the organic light emitting layer;
a plurality of signal lines;
a dam disposed between the hole area and the plurality of signal lines; and
a structure disposed between the dam and the hole area,
wherein the bank-spacer layer is configured by a half-tone exposure process,
wherein the structure is configured to include an eave portion and a trench,
wherein the eave portion is configured to have an overhang which protrudes above the trench,
wherein the structure disconnects some of the cathode electrode and the organic light emitting layer in the trench, and
wherein the disconnected cathode electrode and the disconnected organic light emitting layer in the trench overlap with a portion of the overhang.
