1. A method comprising:
receiving, at a gateway from at least one access point, traffic data associated with one or more devices of a plurality of devices of a multi-device system; and
based on a determination that a first portion of the traffic data is redundant with a second portion of the traffic data, causing the second portion of the traffic data to be discarded without being sent to at least one upstream device of the multi-device system, wherein the at least one access point, the gateway, and the plurality of devices are downstream of the at least one upstream device.
