1. A method implemented by a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU), the method comprising:
receiving a control message, the control message including a transmit power command (TPC) and an indication of a first multi-antenna configuration of a plurality of multi-antenna configurations for sending an uplink channel transmission;
determining a first power control loop, of a plurality of power control loops, for the first multi-antenna configuration of the plurality of multi-antenna configurations; and
sending the uplink channel transmission at an uplink transmission power level of the first power control loop, wherein timing information is associated wih the uplink transmission power level, and
wherein the uplink transmission power level is further derived from a pathloss estimate determined for the uplink channel transmission using the first multi-antenna configuration.
