1. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising a set of instructions, wherein the set of instructions when executed by a processor of a user equipment (UE) cause the processor to perform operations, comprising:
entering into a first state including one of a non-dormant state or a dormant state with a secondary serving cell (SCell) of a network, the SCell being configured to provide either one of a non-dormant bandwidth part (BWP) as a secondary component carrier (SCC) in the non-dormant state or a dormant BWP as an SCC in the dormant state;
receiving an indication from the network that a downlink control information (DCI) repetition scheme for dormancy DCI corresponding to the SCell is to be used where a plurality of dormancy DCIs are sent to the network during a predetermined period;
detecting a dormancy DCI during the predetermined period; and
switching from the first state to a second state including the other one of the non-dormant state or the dormant state, the switch being based on the dormancy DCI.
