1. An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising:
one or more memories storing processor-executable code; and
one or more processors coupled with the one or more memories and individually or collectively operable to execute the code to cause the apparatus to:
monitor a channel in a 6 GHz frequency band for a first message that is associated with a first technology defined by a first technology standard;
obtain the first message via the channel, wherein:
the channel is shared with one or more network devices associated with a second technology defined by a second technology standard different from the first technology standard,
the first message comprises a header and a first payload, the header including an indication of the first technology, the first payload including content associated with the first technology, and
at least a portion of the header is uniformly defined for the first technology and for the second technology, the portion of the header including the indication,
obtain, via the channel, a header of a second message, the header of the second message indicating that a second payload of the second message is associated with the second technology; and
refrain, in response to obtaining the header of the second message and for a duration, from decoding the second payload based at least in part on the second payload of the second message being associated with the second technology.
