1. An apparatus for managing spectrum data for an electromagnetic environment, comprising:
at least one node device;
wherein the at least one node device is operable to create a spectral sweep of the electromagnetic environment;
wherein the at least one node device is operable to detect at least one signal in the electromagnetic environment based on matched positive and negative gradients;
wherein the at least one node device is operable to remove areas identified by the matched positive and negative gradients, and connect points between removed areas to determine a baseline;
wherein the at least one node device is operable to subtract the baseline from the spectral sweep to create signal data;
wherein the at least one node device is operable to process the signal data using compressed data for deltas in near real-time to create processed data;
wherein the deltas are differentials from the baseline;
wherein the at least one node device is operable to reconstruct the at least one signal using the deltas and the baseline;
wherein the at least one node device is operable to fill gaps during the reconstruction of the at least one signal;
wherein the at least one node device includes an event compositor operable to store processed data in a database based on a minimum number of consecutive scans in which the at least one signal must be observed;
wherein the at least one node device is operable to set an energy threshold based on a sensitivity parameter optimized by the event compositor to detect at least one signal of interest;
wherein the at least one node device is operable to calculate signal degradation data for the at least one signal based at least in part on hardware parameters; and
wherein the hardware parameters comprise antenna position, antenna type, orientation, and/or effective isotropic radiated power (EIRP).
