23 Claims

1. An electronic device comprising:

at least one communication circuit;

at least one processor; and

memory storing instructions,

wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor individually or collectively, cause the electronic device to:

select an external device,

acquire a first identifier of the selected external device through at least one of the at least one communication circuit,

configure action information and authentication information, and

provide, to the selected external device, the action information, and the authentication information,

wherein the authentication information is configured to cause the selected external device to authenticate a second external device, and

wherein the action information is configured to cause the second external device to perform a control operation based on a control right, or to output a content file.
