1. A method for managing operation of an endpoint device, the method comprising:
obtaining a customized blueprint from a management entity;
performing a normalization process with respect to the customized blueprint to obtain a normalized customized blueprint;
performing a parameter handling process on the normalized customized blueprint to obtain a standardized blueprint;
performing a signature verification process for the standardized blueprint to check integrity of integrity data for a static portion of the customized blueprint;
in a first instance of the performing of the signature verification where the integrity of the integrity data is not compromised:
performing a verification process for the static portion of the customized blueprint using the integrity data;
in a first instance of the performing of the verification process where the static portion of the customized blueprint is successfully verified:
accepting the customized blueprint; and
in a second instance of the performing of the verification process where the static portion of the customized blueprint is successfully verified:
rejecting the customized blueprint.
