1. A busbar for a battery module comprising a plurality of aligned battery cells, the busbar comprising:
a busbar body portion extending in an extension direction, the busbar body portion having a length to connect cell terminals of a plurality of the battery cells of the battery module; and
a plurality of legs extending from each of opposite ends of the busbar body portion in the extension direction of the busbar body portion, the plurality of legs extending in a direction non-parallel to the extension direction of the busbar body portion, the legs being configured to electrically connect the busbar body portion and the cell terminals of the battery cells of the battery module, adjacent ones of the plurality of legs extending from one end from among the opposite ends of the busbar body portion being separated from each other by a cutout extending away from the busbar body portion, an extension direction of the cutout changing from a direction parallel to the extension direction of the busbar body portion to a direction non-parallel to the extension direction of the busbar body portion,
wherein the height of the busbar body portion is smaller than the height of the cell terminals.
