1. A battery, comprising:
a power generation element that includes a structural body in which a positive electrode, an electrolyte, and a negative electrode are laminated in a laminating direction;
a housing that accommodates the power generation element; and
an exterior body that accommodates the power generation element and the housing,
wherein the power generation element includes:
a first main surface perpendicular to the laminating direction;
a second main surface opposite from the first main surface; and
a side surface parallel to the laminating direction, the housing includes:
a first housing portion that includes
a first plate-shaped portion that faces the first main surface, and
a first side wall portion that extends from a first outer edge of the first plate-shaped portion in a first direction, the first side wall portion facing the side surface; and
a second housing portion that includes
a second plate-shaped portion that faces the second main surface, and
a second side wall portion that extends from a second outer edge of the second plate-shaped portion in a second direction opposite to the first direction, the second side wall portion facing the side surface,
the first side wall portion includes a plurality of first projecting regions that project in the first and are arranged along the first outer edge,
the second side wall portion includes a plurality of second projecting regions that project in the second direction and are arranged along the second outer edge,
one of the plurality of first projecting regions is slidably engaged with adjacent two of the plurality of second projecting regions, and
one of the plurality of second projecting regions is slidably engaged with adjacent two of the plurality of first projecting regions.
