1. A composition of matter comprising Li1.25Cr0.25Ti1.5O4 (LCTO) or Li1.25Al0.25Tl1.5O4 (LATO), and
a second composition of matter a spinel crystal structure electrode material selected from one of LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 (LNMO), LiMn2O4, or Li4Ti5O12, and further combined with composites of Li3BO3 (LBO),
wherein the spinel crystal structure electrode material comprises a single-phase spinel structure.
