1. A smart card comprising:
a processor; and
a memory in communication with the processor and storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the smart card to:
receive a request from a user device to access information from the smart card;
receive an access code from the user device, the access code comprising a cardholder's access code retrieved by the user device from a remote server; and
in response to determining that the access code matches a stored access code stored in the memory, transmit the information to the user device.
