1. A method comprising:
receiving data about a first plurality of hardware components describing current physical characteristics and historical physical characteristics including lifecycle data of one or more hardware components of the first plurality of hardware components;
generating a machine learning model trained on data describing the current physical characteristics and historical physical characteristics including lifecycle data, to predict a remaining hardware life for hardware components;
analyzing current physical characteristics and historical physical characteristics of at least one hardware component of a second plurality of hardware components using the generated machine learning model; and
distributing workloads based on the analysis in order to balance wear amongst the second plurality of hardware components.
