8. A system, comprising:
an image capture device, positioned at a fixed location to remain at the fixed location within a materials handling facility; and
a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing program instructions, the program instructions, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to at least:
determine, for a user at the materials handling facility, identifying information that identifies at least one of the user, a user account of the user, or a user identifier of the user;
receive, from the image capture device, an image of an item;
process the image to determine that a user has selected the item; and
in response to a determination that the user has selected the item, provide item information associated with the item for presentation.
