1. A binding apparatus comprising:
a binder configured to bind sheets of paper by advancing binding teeth toward the sheets of paper;
a water supplier configured to supply a preset amount of water to the sheets of paper to be bound by the binder; and
a processor configured to, if a specific condition is satisfied, make a setting to reduce the amount of water to be supplied to the sheets of paper by the water supplier,
wherein the water supplier is configured to supply water to the sheets of paper to be bound by the binder in an amount that is based on the sheets of paper, and wherein the processor is configured to, if the specific condition is satisfied, make a setting to supply water to the sheets of paper in an amount smaller than the amount that is based on the sheets of paper.
