OG exemplary drawing

1. An ophthalmic lens, comprising:
an optical profile centered about an optical axis, the optical profile comprising a morphed sinusoidal phase shift structure;
wherein the morphed sinusoidal phase shift structure is in the form of a sinusoidal wave and comprises a plurality of zones, each zone comprising a single sinusoidal period; and
wherein the optical profile is defined as:
Zoptic(r)=Zbase(r)+ZMSPS(r)
wherein Zbase(r) defines the base curvature that is aspheric; and
ZMSPS(r) defines the plurality of morphed sinusoidal phase shift zones;

OG Complex Work Unit Math
and:
r denotes a radial distance from the optical axis in units of (mm);
Ri and Ri+1 are starting and ending radial positions from the optical axis of each zone in units of (mm);
Mi are step heights of each zone in units of (μm);
TiP are critical points corresponding to a radial distance of a peak of each zone from the starting radial position of the zone; and
i indicates zone numbers i=0, 1, 2, 3 . . . , consecutively from the optical axis.
