1. A head-up display (HUD) configured to display information on a windshield of a vehicle, comprising:
a picture generation unit (PGU) configured to individually output (1) a first image for a left eye of a driver of the vehicle and (2) a second image for a right eye of the driver, the PGU comprising:
a display configured to display the first and second images; and
first and second light sources configured to respectively emit first and second lights respectively toward the first and second images displayed on the display such that the first and second images are output from the PGU;
a reflection unit configured to reflect, toward the windshield, the first and second images output from the PGU; and
a controller configured to control the first and second light sources to emit the first and second lights alternately such that the first and second images are alternately output from the PGU,
wherein the PGU is configured to generate an n number of images, the n number being equal to or greater than two and determined based on a distance between the left and right eyes of the driver and a length of an eyebox.
