1. A system, comprising:
a projector configured to project a plurality of non-coded elements onto an object, the projector having a first optical axis;
a first camera comprising a first lens and a first sensor, wherein the first lens focusses a reflection of a first portion of the plurality of non-coded elements onto the first sensor, and wherein the first lens defines a second optical axis;
a second camera comprising a second lens and a second sensor, wherein the second lens focusses a reflection of a second portion of the plurality of non-coded elements onto the second sensor, and wherein the second lens defines a third optical axis; and
a mechanical support that mechanically couples the first camera to the second camera,
wherein:
the mechanical support comprises a printed circuit board on which the first sensor and the second sensor are disposed,
the projector, the first camera, and the second camera are offset from one another in a first direction,
the first optical axis is substantially parallel to the second optical axis, which is substantially parallel to the third optical axis,
a center of the first sensor is displaced along the first direction away from the second optical axis, and
a center of the second sensor is displaced along the first direction away from the third optical axis,
the projector comprises a slide that is displaced along the first direction, away from the first optical axis, and a field of view of the projector over which the plurality of non-coded elements is projected on the object is asymmetric with respect to the first optical axis.
