1. A heat exchanger connected to a first pipe through which a refrigerant flows, the heat exchanger comprising:
heat transfer tubes extending in a first direction; and
a header connected to the heat transfer tubes, wherein
the header includes:
a first member including a first portion connected to the heat transfer tubes; and
a second member disposed between the first pipe and the first portion; and
a third member disposed to face a side of the first portion of the first member where the second member is disposed,
the second member includes:
a first wall and a second wall that each extend in the first direction; and
a coupling portion that couples the first wall to the second wall,
the first pipe communicates with each heat transfer tube through a space delimited by the first wall and the second wall,
a longitudinal direction of the first wall and a longitudinal direction of the second wall in a section view along the longitudinal direction of the header are in the first direction,
the first wall, the second wall, and the coupling portion are plates,
the coupling portion, the first wall, and the second wall each have a thickness greater than a thickness of the first member,
the first portion has first openings that accommodate the heat transfer tubes,
the third member has second openings that accommodate the heat transfer tubes, and
each first opening has a portion overlapping the respective second opening when viewed in the first direction.
